Technical Trainer, Sr. jobs in Euclid, OH

Our Company: Inspection Engineering: We are a well-established regional-leader in test and measurement instrumentation. As a manufacturers representative with exclusive agreements in sales and support, we provide post sale training and support for clients in a variety of manufacturing fields. Specifically, our full product line includes Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Video Measuring Machines and other programmable dimensional measuring systems.

Primary Purpose: To conduct technical training seminars both in our tech centers and customer sites located throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan on CMMs and other programmable measuring systems.

Essential Functions: Technical Trainer:

• Conducts technical training for measuring machines using ZEISS Calypso Software, OGP Zone3 Software and Metlogix Software.
• Conduct technical training for related foundational skills such as blue print reading and basic inspection skill sets.
• Writes training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, tests, and designs class exercises.
• Conducts webinars on technical and product material.
• Assists in product training for sales team.
• Makes technical presentations at applicable events.
• Travels regionally 40% - 60%.
• Stays informed on all related product development.
• Updates contact management database for all seminar attendees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirement: Requires Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, math, education or equivalent with a strong working knowledge of CAD drawings and computer technology. Most have aptitude for problem solving and at least two (2) years of technical experience in application engineering and/or field sales/service work.
