Being a Technical Trainer, Sr. writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Additionally, Technical Trainer, Sr. administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an manager. The Technical Trainer, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The SageSE Technical Trainer is a new role to SageSE and will impact culture, belonging, productivity and quality standards for the organization. The Trainer will prepare and teach programs to help Sagers learn their practice and become “Masters of their Domain” in line with our CREDO. Day to day the responsibility of the Technical Trainer will be to assess training needs, teach courses, mentor Sagers and create new materials to ensure employees are technologically ready to meet the function requirements for their position.
