ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technical Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and support of idle equipment, equipment make-ready, and equipment rebuilds in our company. This role ensures that idle equipment is maintained properly, troubleshoots any issues that arise, and coordinates with teams to optimize the use of available resources. This is a critical position that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise internal technicians responsible for the maintenance and support of idle equipment.
- Coordinate the use of outside contractors to aid in the maintenance of idle equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness of idle equipment.
- Coordinate central parts inventory system to optimize effectiveness of spare parts inventory.

Coordinate with other teams to prioritize the use of available resources and allocate equipment according to demand.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to idle equipment and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Train and mentor team members on proper maintenance procedures and best practices.

Evaluate equipment performance data to identify trends or patterns that may require preventive action.
- Collaborate with vendors or suppliers for equipment repairs or replacements as needed.

Coordinate, support, and execute equipment moves from site to site including shipping, rigging, documentation, and CMMS data accuracy.

Document and catalog idle equipment using CMMS system to ensure visibility of available equipment resources.
- Coordinate design and manufacturing of production equipment.
- Lead special projects as requested. · Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE
Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; or equivalent years of experience. - Required
Minimum Experience

Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in maintenance management or technical support roles. - Required
Minimum Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, used in industrial equipment. - Required

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting equipment issues. - Required
