A Precision Equipment Installer for UTSS is responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining, as well as calibrating and diagnostics of equipment for major OEM partners in the medical, security and manufacturing industries. To set you up for success and develop the technical knowledge needed, a training program will guide you, and ensure that you are prepared to provide world class customer service, as well as deliver top quality installation and maintenance services. Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performing mechanical installations, delivery, and calibration of hospital grade medical equipment such as CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Cath Lab, as well as airport security, automation, etc.
· Setting, leveling, and anchoring equipment per installation manual
· Pulling cables and making cable connections per installation manual
· Troubleshooting onsite construction and equipment issues and communicating directly with customers and UTSS staff about project to arrive at amicable solutions
· Providing feedback to UTSS staff regarding operational improvements
· Following all federal, state, and local regulation regarding radiation, calibration, and safety
· Abiding by all OSHA Safety Regulations
· Completing all required internal and customer required paperwork
· Attending all required UTSS projects and training events.
· Responsible for following all standard operating procedures and company policies.
· Instructing Trainees on how to properly and safely install, deinstall, and lead equipment installations
· Traveling weekly travel to customer project sites (average jobs range between 2-7 days, travel is by car or plane)
· All other duties as assigned by management
Previous experience with or as a installer, electrician, manufacturing, fitter, pipefitter, HVAC, maintenance, machine operator, machinist, general maintenance, production, skilled trades, field technican, welding, welder, maintenance, medical equipment technician, assembler, quality control inspector, aircraft maintenance, CNC machinist, industrial chemical operator, general laborer, landscaping also accepted warehouse associate, mechanic, farmer, mechanical assembler, picker, packer, shipping & handling, or installation
