Technical Support Specialist

General Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in an accurate and timely manner. You will work closely with our Project Manager to support various projects and initiatives related to data analysis, implementation of projects, and 5S initiatives within a Manufacturing Environment. This person will be required to work with software and hardware equipment and troubleshoot various equipment as applicable.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain company computer hardware and software systems.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
• Enter information into and manage the digital project databases
• Assist in ensuring compliance with necessary specifications
• Build and test programs using statistical information
• Develop and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
• Assist the project manager in the execution of the management plan for assigned projects
• Help problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve projects
• Assist with the development and implementation of data infrastructure and tools
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person
• Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
• Organize, file, and maintain project documents as applicable
• Coordinate and execute daily administrative tasks
• Help create and adhere to project timeline and calendar
• Help develop and implement 5s plans to improve organization, cleanliness, and productivity in the workplace
• Develop and maintain visual management systems to track progress and ensure accountability
• Conduct audit inspections to identify non-compliant areas and develop corrective actions
• Ensure that 5s standards are sustained through ongoing training, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving within the organization

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Technical Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field – Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced computer skills/IT Savvy
• Detail orientation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
