The Technical Support Analyst I will support Trail King user facing software and hardware as part of a helpdesk role and helps manage backend systems. This position provides assistance with iSeries Applications and Interfaces and with all aspects of the WAN and LAN systems and environment including the availability, security, monitoring, upgrades, applications, education and maintenance of all software and hardware of the network system. This position works under general supervision and relies on limited knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• To provide client support and education across multiple applications, operating systems, and hardware platforms at all locations of Trail King.
• To make appropriate decisions based on the information collected for effective problem resolution.
• Responsible for evaluating operational efficiency of different IT systems.
• Maintain Active Directory.
• Perform basic VMWare operations.
• Performs daily operation and maintenance of the network environment.
• Assist with desktop/laptop imaging as needed.
• Assist with audio/visual requests as needed.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system changes, configurations and standard work and provide usage instructions to users.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 2-year Degree or B.S. Degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred with a minimum of 2 years of IT experience. Knowledge of Windows Client OS and of a variety of technologies and applications and of client/server environment and hardware. Self-directed with a knowledge of a variety of technologies and applications. Possess the ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within all levels of Trail King. Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills. Organized project management skills including critical thinking, problem solving, active listening and prioritization. Analytical thinking, and confidentiality a must.
