Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     We're looking for a persistent, results-oriented professional who enjoys the challenge of matching candidates to exciting job opportunities and is focused on providing an exceptional candidate experience. The successful candidate will help the Canada recruitment team fill permanent positions throughout the recruitment process.

    Core elements of this role include

    • Deliver appropriate recruitment plans and KPIs based on an understanding of recruitment methods and concepts
    • Developing and executing on appropriate sourcing strategies, paying particular attention to diversity initiatives and creative sourcing techniques.
    • Gain an understanding of the business, the external market and trends that impact our practice, such as understanding key players, mapping of relevant skillsets and maintaining a pipeline of ready to hire candidates.
    • Partner with Account Managers to source and attract the best qualified talent for our clients.
    • Conduct effective interviews and references, match and present candidates to clients.
    • Managing candidates thorough ATS to achieve candidate satisfaction
    • Leveraging the firm’s recruitment tools, processes and embrace the branding strategy in the recruitment lifecycle.

    Qualifications

    • 8 years full cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the consulting world
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume environment i.e., an average workload of 20-25 requisitions
    • Experience recruiting candidates through a variety of sources including job boards, LinkedIn recruitment portals, referrals and pinpoint recruiting.
    • The ability to quickly ramp up to full management of a recruitment portfolio.
    • A university degree and related recruitment experience
