Summary :
It is the responsibility of the Librarian / Library Media Specialist to function as a leader in the learning community of the school by collaborating with faculty and staff to prepare students with information and technological literacy skills for lifelong independent learning.
The Librarian / Library Media Specialist shall administer the library / media program in conformance with professional library standards and principles as well as local and state policies.
This includes but is not limited to supervising students; answering reference questions; serving as a readers' advisor; instructing individuals and classes;
serving as a curriculum resource for staff; and cataloging materials.
