Technical Illustrator creates illustrations for use in technical manuals, product specifications, maintenance documents, advertisements, and other media. Utilizes a variety of graphic files, photo images, and sketches to create detailed technical illustrations. Being a Technical Illustrator produces 3-D, cutaway, or exploded views of objects. Familiar and proficient with graphic illustration and CAD software tools. Additionally, Technical Illustrator typically requires an associate degree in art, design, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Illustrator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Life Safety Systems Drafter/BIM Modeler
We're looking for a Life Safety Systems Drafter / Modeler (multiple locations) who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business. Our Drafting/Modeling designers are responsible for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with multi-disciple engineers and design leads that form the core of our Life Safety Systems delivery team. Utilizing AutoCAD, Smart Plant and Revit MEP, you'll create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers. From those 3D BIM models, you'll assist the designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security and Intrusion detection systems.
