Technical Illustrator creates illustrations for use in technical manuals, product specifications, maintenance documents, advertisements, and other media. Utilizes a variety of graphic files, photo images, and sketches to create detailed technical illustrations. Being a Technical Illustrator produces 3-D, cutaway, or exploded views of objects. Familiar and proficient with graphic illustration and CAD software tools. Additionally, Technical Illustrator typically requires an associate degree in art, design, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Illustrator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time instructor in our Practical Nursing (PN) program. This position is responsible for the classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in the PN program. This position will also require developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress in attaining goals and objectives, attending intradepartmental nursing meetings, staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences, and ensuring all safety and security requirements are met in training labs. Additional Duties include maintaining program certification requirements, preparing and maintaining all required documentation, and administrative reports. This position is full-time/exempt.
Note: Position will require physical ability to move about or stand for long periods; Position also requires bending, stooping, reaching, and ability to safely lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
