Technical Director jobs in Alabama

The Technical Director is responsible for the planning, scheduling and managing all aspects of proposals including strategy development, technical solutions and capture support. Essential Functions:

• Works closely with Senior Leadership during all solicitation phases to develop proposal win strategies, themes, and discriminators.

• Analyzes Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from government and commercial customers

• Develops proposal outlines that address all RFP requirements

• Establishes and maintains proposal development schedules

• Facilitates communication between proposal team member, functional leads and program managers for proposal kick off and reviews

• Oversees writer(s) and coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to develop responsive and compelling proposals

• Reviews and critiques proposals; ensures cohesive narrative flow and consistency between all volumes; writes fresh content as required

• Ensures requirements compliance during reviews and before submission.

• Oversees the development and preparation of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) proposals that include the use of specialized software, spreadsheets, basis of estimates, assumptions, and travel based on Government requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work.
• Manages the entire proposal cycle from Draft RFP to negotiations to contract award.

Bachelor's in Business Administration or English or equivalent preferred. Five to Ten years government proposal preparation and technical editing, knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft suite of tools, and FAR/DFAR knowledge is required.

The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required
