Summary

Working with Engineering and Purchasing and Quality teams to control and release rejected materials with detailed documentation and accurate ERP system (JD Edwards) inputted transactions.

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Works as a general coordinator for activities related to non-conforming product.
• Works with Quality, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering groups to obtain disposition of non-conforming product.
• Maintains inventory control of non-conforming material.
• Update and maintain rejection report database and status of rejected material.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy. Ensure that documents are properly submitted for scanning into network folders.

May perform scanning of documents.

• Process and move parts per disposition instructions.
• Work with Production, Stockroom, and Finance department personnel to maintain accurate data transactions within the ERP system.
• May assist manufacturing engineering with documentation of rework.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS : Skills

Skills

• Demonstrate understanding of quality systems.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education : Requires technical training courses in a related field or the equivalent in prior work experience.

Years of experience : Entry-level, to years experience.

OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALIFICATIONS (not required) :

• Experience with electromechanical sensors and systems a plus.
• Experienced or trained in a world class-manufacturing environment with familiarity in Lean and Six Sigma activities .
• Knowledge of AS / ISO : , SPC, FMEA , and other related industry standards a plus.
