Additionally, Technical Communicator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Communicator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 15-20 technicians in a hauling station environment.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture among team members.
- Conduct afternoon meetings with the shop to review daily workload, enforce safety protocol, and optimize efficiency of the shop
- Oversee the maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and functional working environment.
- While hands-on work is not required, having technician-level knowledge would be a valuable asset for effective communication and problem-solving.
- 3-5 Years in a supervisory/managerial role
- Demonstrated experience in a Fleet Environment, specifically in managing technicians responsible for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Previous Waste & Recycling experience not required
- Proficiency in using maintenance software systems to streamline operations, track equipment maintenance schedules, and enhance overall efficiency
- Technician level knowledge preferred
