Teacher Aide partners with one or more teachers to prepare lessons and instruct students. Engages with students individually or in small groups to answer questions and facilitate activities. Being a Teacher Aide helps teachers resolve classroom issues and conflicts. Monitors and evaluates students' performance. Additionally, Teacher Aide typically requires an associate degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Aide works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Starting pay of $14 - $18.75 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.
The following shifts are available:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay only $14 - 15 / hourly)
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with shift differential $17 - $18 / hourly)
Overnight Shift: Schedule options listed on application, 9:45pm - 6:15am (base pay with shift differential $15 - $16 / hourly)
Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45am - 10:15pm (base pay with Baylor pay bonus ($17.50 - $18.75 / hourly)
