Teacher Aide partners with one or more teachers to prepare lessons and instruct students. Engages with students individually or in small groups to answer questions and facilitate activities. Being a Teacher Aide helps teachers resolve classroom issues and conflicts. Monitors and evaluates students' performance. Additionally, Teacher Aide typically requires an associate degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. Courageous Cubs is looking for creative, patient, kind, caring and reliable individual to be a classroom aide. Full time Monday-Friday. Aides must be 16 years or older. We can assist you with CPR resources and instructions on how to obtain your background and Childcare Worker License. All employees are expected to have their infant, child and adult CPR/First Aide and be able to pass a background check.
If hired, employees are responsible for paying the required amounts for your Pediactric CPR/First Aide (Average Cost $25-45 depending on company you choose for pedatric CPR) and your background ($65)
All employees will have to complete an annual training of 20hrs of computer based training throughout the year to remain eligible for the position. Employees will need to complete 12 hours of ICCP training within 90 days of hire.

Full Time Aide
Will assist the Lead Teacher in planning of weekly themes, lesson plans and daily activities. Observe, record, and assess each child’s individual growth and development. Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children always. Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children. Ensure compliance with all city and state rules and regulations. Maintain all certifications as required
