Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tanker Driver to join our team. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting various types of liquids, such as fuel or chemicals, in a safe and efficient manner. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and adherence to all safety regulations.

Duties:

- Safely operate tanker trucks to transport liquids to designated locations

- Load and unload liquids using appropriate equipment

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations during transportation and delivery

- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver, preferably with tanker truck experience

- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (Tanker endorsement required)

- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents

- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds

- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

- Experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities

- Knowledge of load/unload procedures for liquids

Pay: $20.00 per hour
