Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Position Title: Oregon Office Supervisor with Licensed Tax Consultant Certification

Position Purpose
Office Supervisors with their Licensed Tax Consultant Certifications are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific retail tax location, as well as staying current on new tax law as they are experts in providing tax advice and tax services to a wide range of clients. Tax consultants are strong written and verbal communicators who can explain tax law in a way that is accessible and easy for customers to understand. This position manages store employees and is responsible to meet business objectives as set by the corporate office.
