Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function. Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What Will You Do?
The Tax Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation & review of income tax returns for individuals & businesses, calculating estimated tax payments, and general oversight of other team members.
What do you need?
The Tax Supervisor possesses a minimum of 5 years’ of experience preparing other individuals’ tax returns & business returns and enjoys mentoring less experienced professionals.
