We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant with public accounting experience to join our team! You will join our team in an important role working with a variety of great clients at local CPA firm in Salt Lake City. This position is available for partial remote work. Partial or full-time remote options are available, depending on experience.Responsibilities:
- Preparing a variety of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, estate, gift, individual, not-for-profit
- Researching tax issues
- Assisting with tax consulting projects
- Understanding your clients’ business and tax needs
- Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Qualifications:- The ideal candidate will have between 1-4 years of public accounting experience.
- A master’s degree, and a CPA license (or working to obtain their CPA license).
- Be able to work independently and be highly motivated.
- Communication skill to interact with clients and coworkers.
- Detail and deadline-oriented with project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
