Top three duties:

• Preparation and review of tax filings, individual and privately held pass through entities:

S Corps - 1120S

Partnerships - 1065

Schedule C

C Corps - 1120

Individual - 1040

Trusts - 1041

• Experience with clients in various industries:

Real estate

Manufacturing

Service

Professional Service

Restaurants, food and beverage

• Research complex tax issues.
• Respond to notices from local, state and federal entities.
• Correspond with IRS
• Respond to client inquiries and questions in a timely manner.
• Mentor younger staff and interns.
• Conduct client meetings.
• Educate clients on their tax situation as it relates to their personal and professional goals.
• Communicate effectively internally and externally.

Next three duties:

• Perform reconciliations and clean up in Quickbooks.
• Uncover discrepancies in Quickbooks.
• Produce financial statements.
• Contribute to Controllership and consulting projects.
• Contribute to audit projects.
• Contribute to the internal processes, strategy and management.

Technical Requirements:

• Tax software (Lacert, UltraTax, CCH Prosystems)
• Excel
• Quickbooks
• Paperless software

Job Type: Full-time
