    Sigmatech is currently seeking a Proposal Editor at its corporate office to provide editing and writing support on proposal and other business development related documents. The Proposal Editor will contribute to the development of formats and guidelines to ensure final product reflects adherence to government instructions, organizational quality and branding.

    Responsibilities:

    Coordinates with capture/proposal manager, section authors and other business managers to resolve substantive questions, meaning, language and context of material. Writes, reviews, revises original material for proposal and business development related documents. Maintains consistency of voice, style, punctuation, spelling and grammar. Supports and develops document standards in compliance with customer and organizational standards and procedures. Support proposal and business development teams with boilerplate language, example text, and resume formatting and editing.Required to direct the layout, formatting, design, and presentation of proposals. Required to utilize word processing, data processing, and industry-specific software programs to edit and finalize proposals. Work with the proposal team to ensure that deadlines are met. Work on multiple proposals at the same time.

    Duties:

    • Maintains proposal schedule, plans, outlines, and assignments.
    • Being a key contributor and lead for proposal reviews to include reviewing and incorporating team member feedback and edits
    • Collaborates with management, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and other staff to develop a high quality, winning proposal
    • Establish the electronic file structure, archive, and back-up capability and procedures for all proposal materials on the team's server system
    • Help us exceed the 'basic compliance requirements' to truly set our company apart from the pack in proposal response content and presentation.


    Required Experience:


    Experience: 3-5 years of publication experience. Proficient in Microsoft 365 Tool Suite, Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Preferred experience on government competitive proposals.

    Education: Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent in Journalism, English, Communications or related field.
