Summary:
As a Video Editor on Surfline's Content team, you will play a pivotal role in creating, organizing, and editing dynamic videos. This person is also responsible for producing and distributing live and edited video using various platforms, programs, and techniques. You will report to our Director of Video Programming and will work closely with our content, marketing, and forecast teams. The ideal candidate needs strong attention to detail, ability to receive and implement feedback, the ability to prioritize tasks based on a content calendar, and strong proficiency in video editing tools and software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Media Encoder.
Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from a variety of locations in the US, or from the Huntington Beach, CA headquarters.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is: $60,000 - $75,000. In accordance with applicable state laws, the range provided is Surfline's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
