About This Role
The Specialist, Talent Management and Recruiting is responsible for supporting global Talent Management activities and conducting “full-cycle” recruitment for select positions based in the US. The Recruiting Specialist is part of a global Recruitment and Retention team in the Global Human Resources (GHR) Department.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Director, Recruitment and Retention, Recruiting team members, GHR colleagues, people managers, and hiring managers on talent management and recruiting projects
- Administer learning platforms in use by ChildFund, including Covey, Humentum, DisasterReady, and others; managing access, communicating course offerings, providing support to course selection, reporting, and other administration activities

Conduct full-cycle recruiting activities for select US-based positions including interns, part-time, and full-time roles; conduct proactive sourcing, shortlisting, screening interviews, offer negotiation, and reference/background checks, and preboarding/onboarding, following best practices and ChildFund processes.

Provide timely support to global training activities as requested.

Support annual performance activities and guidance to staff, people managers, and teams related to goal-setting, check-ins, annual competency assessments, and final reviews.

Support annual employee engagement surveys including participating in the selection of questions, system administration, vendor management, and reporting.

Proactively and conscientiously maintain required GHR records related to Recruitment and Retention; contribute to accurate talent and recruiting-related data and metrics.

Assist in enhancing the knowledge and capacity of Global Human Resources colleagues, people managers, and staff about ChildFund recruiting and talent management programs and activities through various communication platforms including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and email.

Communicate with Global HR Shared Services, business partners, and managers to encourage compliance with existing business processes for the use of the HR system, WeConnect, and to enable collaboration and efficiency.

Maintain a learning and growth mindset and participate in opportunities for training, professional development, and learning about HR and industry changes and trends.

Support additional Global HR projects and initiatives as requested.

Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy.
Required Competencies
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.

Proficiency with applicant tracking system(s) and learning management systems; ability to work productively with outside vendors.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Proficiency with Sharepoint preferred.

Required Experience and Education
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 4 years of human resources, learning, or talent management experience.

Previous full-cycle recruiting experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.
Other Criteria
- Current work authorization in the US is required.

Ability to work in the ChildFund International Office in Richmond on a hybrid schedule required.
