    ENERGY – Early Talent Rotational Program: Supply Chain Management Specialist

    This is a pilot program that allows you to learn and work in various jobs or departments throughout the company. It will also help you understand LG’s many moving parts and determine where YOUR skills best fit in. In this role you will work in 4 different departments, each for a period of 6 months. During this time you will be interacting with different managers and working on different projects over a TWO YEAR period. This role will be a “Specialist Track” working directly with the Supply Chain Management Organization at LG. Here are the 4 departments you will cover:

     

    HA PSI (Home Appliances Production Sales Inventory) - Associate Demand Planner

    • Plan, schedule and monitor CPFR (collaborative, planning, forecasting and replenishment) activities for key accounts
    • Provides regular and critical analysis and communication with internal and external stakeholders on key performance indicators and order management and escalates issues as needed
    • Analyze sales forecasting and planning process for key customers
    • Complete complex customer specific reports to meet ongoing needs, including weekly sales reports, promotional analysis, reconciliation of forecast versus actual and data infrastructure)
    • Participate in weekly sales and operation planning meeting to review sales, forecast and sell-through performance
    • Maintain and evaluate KPI's (forecast accuracy, fill rate, etc.) and analyze variances initiating appropriate corrective action
    • Manage and balance inventory across all distribution centers, assist order management team with inventory allocation for order fulfillment, communicate with factory and headquarters for shipment plan confirmation, communicate with logistics to track all inbounds (seastock containers and warehouse transfers)
    • Manage domestic distribution centers in United States, communication with overseas factory and supply teams in Korea, Mexico, China, Vietnam
    • Utilize experience with supply chain and logistics operation to improve system and allocation logic to reduce costs and more efficiently meet customer demand
    • High latitude to suggest development of network innovation in all matters pertaining to order fulfillment inventory allocation/balancing
    • NPI launch, EOL/LTI processing, Balancing
    • Negotiation between factory required for shipment plan consensus and confirmation, negotiation between accounts when determining strategic allocation for orders

     

    Logistics Operations - Associate Logistics Analyst

    • Responsible for supporting/managing Logistics (Transportation, Distribution, Inbound, Return, Home Delivery, Planning) process for Logistics Department, SCM
    • Support the Leadership Reporting, Carrier Management, and Overall WH Operations/ 3PL Mgmt, WH Cost/KPI/Inventory Mgmt, WH Improvement / Network Projects, and Inbound  Overall Import Operation, Import Leadership Reporting
    • Participate in weekly/monthly strategic Logistics discussions and collaborative planning and communication - i.e., carrier, 3PL and SCM Business units
    • Monitor the weekly Logistics operation performance and Monthly Logistics planning review
    • Come up with operation activities such as Volume Forecast & Utilization, Carrier management, Inbound project support activities
    • Work with carrier, 3PL and SCM Business units
    • Work with SCM towards aligning Sales forecast and support IOD management
    • Look for ways to improve efficiency of data analysis and reporting and implement spreadsheets that will help to analyze Logistics operation efficiency
    • Generate bottom-up and top-down operational analysis and reconciliation through effective internal and external communication to align with and achieve business Logistics targets

    HE CPFR (Home Entertainment Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment) - Associate Demand Planner

    • Responsible for supporting/managing Inventory/PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) process and Demand Planning activities for Home Entertainment (HE) business
    • Manage order flow towards execution and fulfillment with respective support functions - order management logistics, BU PSI & CPFR teams
    • Support CPFR (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment) process and activities to include consensus with key stakeholders - BU, GTM team, sales, product management, etc. - towards supporting a target driven demand and replenishment operation
    • Manage inventory flow, reserves, etc. leading to improved forecast regional (DC) level fulfillment and inventory balance resulting in fill-rates, customer service levels and in-stocks that meet expectation
    • Participate in strategic, business discussions with key stakeholders
    • Weekly CPFR calls, monthly PSI and DC supply review, e-commerce orders follow up
    • Develop bottom-up forecast and replenishment via CPFR activities. Manage DC level inventory towards fulfilling regional demand
    • Work with order management, logistics towards supporting order fulfillment
    • Work with sales and marketing towards aligning forecast and purchase orders
    • Prioritize internal deliverables and work with DXP and BU teams towards e-commerce order fulfillment
    • Look for ways to improve efficiency of data analysis and reporting. Implement spreadsheets that will help to analyze regional demand to optimize inventory stocking goals
    • Generate bottom-up and top-down forecasting and reconciliation for existing and new SKU and communicate effectively both internally and externally to build consensus that align to business targets

    Supply Chain Management Innovation - Associate SCM Analyst

    • Customer focused and develop innovative and cost-effective Supply Chain / Logistics solutions
    • Lead digital transformation
    • Documentation of process changes and change management
    • Participate in weekly/monthly strategic Logistics discussions and collaborative planning and communication - i.e., carrier, 3PL and SCM Business units
    • Monitor the weekly SCM operation performance and monthly S&OP operational review
    • Work with carrier, 3PL and SCM Business units and identify areas for improvement in SCM and Logistics operations
    • Work with Logistics and SCM teams to prioritize internal deliverables and measure productivity and assess automation levels with NPs scores from internal and external customers
    • Generate operational performance analysis through bottom-up and top-down reconciliation and consensus with SCM Logistics to achieve SCM Logistics operational process and systems improvements and goals

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management field
    • 0-2 years experience MAXIMUM
    • Motivated individual with the ability to interact with different capacities of management
    • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is a must
    • Advanced Planning Systems experience preferred (ERP, TMS, WMS)
