Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • Position Overview

    The Talent Management Partner is a key role as part of the Talent Organizational & Development (TOD) team. The position will lead the learning and development initiatives specifically in the Field, Operations functions of the business. The role will require close collaboration with both Supply Chain and Transportation business leaders and Field HR Business Partners.

    Job Description

    Full Time, Hybrid Role

    Location: Any C&S location across the country

    • Evaluate, provide recommendations and implement continuous improvements to the Excelling as a Supervisor (EAS) program.
    • Develop, design and launch new learning solutions that support the growth and development of both shift and operations managers
    • Lead the facilitation and delivery of other leadership training and workshops for supervisors, shift managers and operations managers as required
    • Partner with senior HR and business leaders in the redesign and implementation of the supply chain leadership program (formerly EXCEL)
    • Provide support to Field HRBPs and business leaders in the execution of the various annual talent processes i.e. goal setting, value visits, year-end conversations, performance calibrations, talent reviews and engagement surveys.
    • Partner with Field HR Business Partners and Communications team to develop and implement internal communication plans for training roll-outs
    • Travel Required: Yes

    • Specialized Knowledge: Adult learning styles; Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations; Proficient in eLearning or performance support technology and production (Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
    • Special Skills: Excellent communication skills (oral and written); Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management; Strong influencing skills; Strong and effective facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to gain and retain the attention and involvement of sophisticated and challenging audiences; Excellent consultative skills and ability to manage client relationships; Ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption; Excellent consultative skills and ability to manage client relationships

    Years of Experience

    • 5-7 : years of overall related experience
    • 2-5 : Leadership and Organizational Development training and facilitation, Talent Development, or Human Resources Business Partner; Knowledge of organizational development, change management, leadership development, talent planning, performance management and organization design
    • 2-5 : Strong and effective facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to gain and retain the attention and involvement of knowledgeable audiences
    • 2-5 : Experience interacting with senior management; Proven ability to engage and influence at all levels of an organization.
