Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Responsibilities

    TALENT SOURCING

    • Build and maintain a highly talented and diverse talent pipeline in alignment with VNAHG needs, aiding in expedited placement of candidates within the system; specific focus on clinical roles.
    • Continuously drive sourcing capability to build and maintain a network of inclusive candidate pipelines by leveraging available talent channels including social media platform tools, market research, employee referrals, clinical and industry/healthcare associations, alumni groups, and organization partnerships.
    • Actively maintains the candidate database to ensure a continuous talent pipeline.
    • Provides support to Talent Acquisition Specialist in assessing and interviewing candidates as needed.
    • Analyzes data to gain insights about quality of candidates, candidate skill match to position requirements, and hiring metrics against benchmarks.
    • Maintain high data integrity and accuracy of records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Prepares reports documenting recruitment metrics, activity and effectiveness.

    RECRUITMENT MARKETING

    • Develop, implement, and lead recruitment marketing strategies to inform, attract, and engage top-tier talent across prioritized roles and markets.
    • Coordinates process for creating recruiting strategies and an “employment brand” / marketing profiles to communicate our value proposition as employer of choice for assigned positions and/or areas. May place advertisements in print, electronic, and minority publications within recruiting budget.
    • Understand talent demand from the business, and build a highly scalable, highly efficient candidate attraction and retention plan that predictably yields targeted candidates and talent.
    • Analyze data (market, talent, operational, etc.) to develop insights, drive campaign performance, and support investment strategies.
    • Leverage data and intelligence to inform the creation of talent marketing techniques and continuously measure and optimize campaign results.
    • Follow workforce trends, and lead talent-focused research to inform the creation of new, creative marketing strategies.
    • Vendor management

    ADMINISTRATION

     

    • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
    • Ensures compliance with all federal, state laws and regulations including but not limited to EEO / Affirmative Action compliance
    • Assisted with other projects and/or duties as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources, Business, or the Behavioral Sciences preferred.
    • Prior talent acquisition marketing and sourcing experience required. 3-5 years preferred.
    • Familiarity with current sourcing techniques and platforms and the ability to remain current with developing new techniques and skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
    • Strong research and candidate generation skills.
    • Prior experience working iCIMS (ATS) and Indeed.
    • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in using online tools and applications
    • Excellent problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and earn trust with a wide range of internal team members.
