Purpose: The Quality Management Specialist (QMS) is responsible for the quality of daily operations and implementation of programs at the assigned site(s). QMS works in a cooperative effort with program leads to ensure that program plans are implemented and documented properly and updated timely. QMS attends meetings, properly complete required paperwork, review documentation and report concerns, etc. QMS identify methods whereby services can be provided utilizing existing community resources wherever possible ensuring the person-centered approach and positive consumer interaction. Provide leadership, direction and supervision to assigned personnel. Monitor performance and implementation of staff’s assigned responsibilities by being present when day-to-day activities, routines and rhythms are taking place, on all shifts and by unannounced quality checks.
