Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     This role is 100% in-person at either our New Hyde Park, NY (Long Island), NYC (Midtown East), or NJ (Bridgewater, NJ) headquarters.

    OUR POSITION:
    Our Talent Acquisition Specialist will join our Talent team in identifying, screening, and coordinating the successful placement of new team members to our rapidly expanding organization. The TA Specialist will be responsible for aiding the Director of Talent and Chief Talent Officer in sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, building pipelines, aiding in new Talent initiatives, and coordinating with candidates through their full application life cycle as they enter our organization.

    YOUR EXPERIENCE:

    A successful candidate will enjoy building relationships with applicants while representing our organization's successful brand. High levels of collaboration are required with the Talent management team, Operations, and Executive Leadership in regard to company initiatives and plans for growth.

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred but not required
    • Minimum two years of experience of recruiting in a high volume/large organization
    • Prior experience health recruiting preferred
    • Must be familiar with Applicant Tracking Software (ATS)
    • Must be familiar with G-Suite
    • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Presentation of qualified candidates to Talent Directors and Operations Team
    • Performing initial screenings, scheduling interviews, organize assessments, present employment offers, and supervise initial phases of on-boarding
    • Coordination of various recruiting events
    • Evaluate newly hired employee performance and quality of hire
    • Monitor and make adjustments to Applicant Tracking System - keeping accurate and detailed notes during all phases
    • Review present and anticipated hiring needs with Talent Directors
    • Assist in ad posting
    • Help develop Talent and continuously build a healthy pipeline of future leaders
