Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

SUMMARY: This position impacts strategic initiatives across the talent lifecycle of Arvest associates. It is responsible for the design, development and delivery of leadership and talent development strategies, programs, and processes to assure a broad, deep and diverse pipeline of talent. The incumbent ensures we are identifying and developing the skills and capabilities at all levels to support the growth and transformation of our organization.
In addition, the incumbent works with management and executives to influence, advise, and offer guidance on talent development programs to ensure future bench strength for Arvest’s key leadership populations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May supervise other associates as necessary. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ensures direct reports have completed required compliance training and are adhering to all internal procedures and controls as it relates to bank policy, laws, regulations and Arvest’s BSA/AML Program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. The incumbent has the authority and the appropriate influence to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other associates within the guidelines of the bank’s procedures and guidelines for such change of status events. The incumbent provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work assignments and schedules; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
