Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Are you a people person with a love of problem solving? This role finds, attracts and hires talent to build the Vermeer team.

    With a passion for our culture and an eye for skill, this position screens for potential, guides the interview process and fills roles that move the business forward.

    What You’ll Do

    1. Facilitate effective staffing of business area(s) through assessing needs and identifying and recruiting talent.

    2. Source and recruit prospects using a variety of digital platforms to target ideal candidates for open positions.

    3. Manage interview and hiring processes through effective assessment of candidates’ abilities to perform in positions of consideration.

    4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, candidates, and peers to drive a positive hiring experience.

    6. Drive attraction efforts through key messaging and audience targeting activities based on market trends and insights.

    7. Actively participate in projects within functional area and cross-functionally to achieve common business goals.What We’re Looking For

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related area.Or Associate’s Degree with a minimum two years related experience.

    Creative problem solving and ability to influence action.Build key relationships to influence future talent.Ability to learn markets, business functions and state and federal hiring processes and laws.

    Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred.

    Travel

    Occasional travel is expected of this position.Work Location

    HYBRID : Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
