Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Overview

    Absher is looking for an experienced Talent Manager to help our company find and retain excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be in charge to design, develop and execute a new talent acquisition strategy for our company.

     

    What You’ll Do

    • Coordinate with departments to forecast hiring needs and identify critical qualities of desired candidates.
    • Creating a sustainable talent acquisition recruitment strategies and techniques to include resource recommendation for access to talent
    • Lead employment branding initiatives
    • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
    • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
    • Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
    • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events
    • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
    • Motivate employees to be brand ambassadors and promote the employee referral program
    • Source and discover a top talent for open positions using job boards
    • Design, plan and execute recruitment and selection processes
    • Conduct initial screening of possible candidates
    • Plan procedures for enhancing the candidate experience

    • Proven experience as talent acquisition manager preferably in the construction industry
    • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
    • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
    • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
    • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
    • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
    • Excellent communicator

    • Ability to discover bottlenecks in the recruiting procedure.

    All benefits are dependent on start date; pro-rated for mid-year hires

     

    The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 with the average starting salary in the 40th percentile range; commensurate with experience and training. This ensures we get you properly seated within our organization so that all parties feel good about our future together.
