Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description:

    Reporting to the HR Director, the Talent Acquisition Manager will lead all programs and efforts around talent acquisition including recruitment and selection, new hire experience, school and community partnerships, internship program and Talent Succession Planning. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for the site talent strategy and process, building comprehensive recruitment plans and using the best sourcing strategies and techniques for each job.
    • Source candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and TA Programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.
    • Review resumes against job requirements, conduct candidate phone screens/assessments against qualifications and present to Hiring Managers.
    • Collaborate with team to ensure requisitions are complete, opened, activities/candidates tracked and closed in the PeopleSoft Applicant Tracking System.
    • Oversee New Hire Orientation and New Hire Experience systems and process.
    • Responsible for site internship program.
    • Lead the site Talent Succession Planning process.
    • Regularly maintain and monitor metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire and others, sourcing effectiveness, etc.
    • Lead and supervise the talent acquisition team.
    • Partner and build relationships with high schools, universities, and local community.
    • Assist others in the HR department with duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, General Management, or related area required.
    • Minimum 10 years related experience required.
    • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP desired.
    • Pharmaceutical and manufacturing experience desired.
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
    • Applicant tracking system required; PeopleSoft desired.
    • Demonstrated experience reviewing resumes against job requirements, behavioral interviewing of candidates against qualifications, and presenting recommendations to Hiring Managers.
    • Proven success having personally sourced candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and other programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.
    • Experience consulting with Hiring Managers on compensation/offers, market trends, sourcing challenges, behavioral interviewing, and recruiting process expectations, accountabilities and service levels.
    • Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 20 lbs. and Prolonged sitting.

    Compensation:

    • The annual salary range for this position is $84,000 - $132,000, depending on experience.
