    Permobil is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will lead a recruitment organization responsible for staffing our hourly manufacturing talent as well salaried talent across all functions. You will lead the talent acquisition function and help the organization hire top talent in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner while promoting diversity and inclusion hiring practices. It will be key for this leader to develop & maintain strong working relationships with Operations Leadership and Human Resources Business Partners along with providing clear measurement and reporting of the effectiveness of current recruitment strategies and key openings. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize to support the business. To ensure success as a Director of Talent Acquisition, you should be an experienced TA/HR expert with a keen understanding of practices and processes involved in acquiring talent. This role will report to the VP of HR. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to come to the Lebanon, Tennessee site 2-3 times per week.

    Responsibilities:
    Design a clear end to end positive experience for candidates and hiring managers in the recruiting and hiring process, including providing clear SLAs, providing updates on candidate pool, ensuring interview process is well coordinated, overseeing and tracking requisition process and postings.
    Responsible for the design and strategy for recruiting. Presenting a variety of recommendations and tools to best recruit including best practices of social media and other tools.
    “Hands-On” Leader who will also recruit for key leadership positions or other openings.
    Partnering with HR and Leaders to ensure calibration of hiring of key leadership candidates, ensuring interview screens are set and post interview discussions occur to ensure alignment of selection of candidates.
    Assist with market research, job descriptions and talent insights that will help the team understand the recruiting market.
    Identify or create new candidate channels and sourcing methods to find qualified candidates.
    Support a strategy for the hiring of seasonal and /or temporary labor and partnership with key temporary staffing vendors.
    Oversee best-in-class summer internship experience, with strong focus on ongoing feedback, metrics and outcomes from the interns and leadership.
    Coordinates the regular review and update of hiring materials across the organization; develops training materials and coaches leadership and hiring managers.
    Evaluate, identify and maintain relationships with various vendors and partners related to talent acquisition, i.e. job boards, temporary agencies, search firms, industry and trade groups, etc.
    Lead and develop the talent acquisition team.
    Provide impeccable reporting to business leaders on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
    Utilize a data-oriented approach to drive strategic decisions.
    Leverage data to design and implement recruiting strategies to strive for continuous improvement.
    Ability to utilize applicant tracking and other tools to conduct weekly reporting and recruiting activity to key business partners and stakeholders to report out status of openings and key KPIs.
    Encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive hiring practices across the organization; develops and implements programs and initiatives that drive an inclusive culture and attract and retain diverse talent.
    Effectively manage talent acquisition vendors, product negotiations and ensuring we are leveraging resources appropriately.
    Oversee and partner with internal communications and marketing to keep Career Website and other social media outlets current.
    Ensure clear compliance in hiring practices with current and applicable laws with background checks, applications, and new-hire paperwork ensuring coordination with HR business partners and hiring managers.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of professional experience, of which 5 years of full life cycle recruiting.
    Strong business acumen and polished communication skills.
    Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high-attention to detail.
    Confident in quickly adapting to a changing work environment and an ability to deal with ambiguous situations.
    Previous experience managing a recruiting team.
    Proven success and experience in recruiting exempt and non-exempt team members using various techniques to include but not limited to direct sourcing, internet, career fairs, social media, and networking.
    Strong organizational, planning, prioritizing, and administrative skills; ability to self-direct in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
    Extensive experienced hire and / or campus recruitment experience.
    Proven ability to identify obstacles and create solutions to complex problems.
    Strong project management skills to drive projects to completion.
    Must be able to work independently: self motivated to complete work in a timely and accurate manner.
