Position Overview

This individual is responsible for assisting the Director of Maintenance (DOM) with overseeing maintenance of airline and company aircraft, maintenance personnel, FAA certifications and maintenance budget.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Assist in the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department to ensure safe operations and compliance with all company, FAA, and governmental safety rules and regulations.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure that high standards of performance are maintained in the areas of safety, compliance, costs, and quality.
• Assist in the coordination of strategic growth plans and well as interface with other operational divisions to ensure coordination and compliance.
• Assist the DOM with the development and growth of the maintenance team as needed -
• training, in-servicing, evaluating, disciplining, termination.
• Oversee airline training rosters and airline maintenance.
• Assist Chief Inspector with duties when needed.
• Assist DOM with recruiting and placement efforts to ensure staffing levels meet requirements.
• Assist DOM in establishing and maintaining positive customer relations and satisfaction.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned to help NEA attain corporate goals.

Skills / Qualifications

• 1-2 years of progressive management experience.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbally with all levels of employees throughout
• the organization.
• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft office suite and mobile/tablet-based
• applications and electronic aviation operation management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Diversity of experience in the maintenance of PC-12s, King Air, and C-525’s.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess current and valid FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate and have held these ratings for minimum of 7 years.
• Must possess Inspection Authorization (IA) endorsement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stooping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
