Job Title: Sage 500 Business Systems Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Orange County, CA (100% onsite)

Position Overview: We seek a are seeking proficient Business Systems Analyst in Sage 500 to be technical and functional liaison supporting Finance & Accounting and an active contributor to the Information System strategy managed by Information Technology. This is a pivotal role with driving integrated partnerships between Finance & Accounting, ERP System, Sage 500, and manufacturing operations. This role combines a heavy consultative approach to identify and resolve issues in Sage 500 strategic partnership with leadership and systems oversight with tactical execution, requiring a balance of hands-on technical expertise, business systems analysis, and mapping system and business process to achieve accuracy and optional performance from Sage 500, the ERP, and corresponding systems.

Areas of Contribution:

• Serve as a pivotal liaison between the IT and Finance and Accounting (F&A) teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead comprehensive requirement gathering sessions to accurately capture and prioritize business needs.
• Take charge of planning and executing F&A projects, overseeing both IT and business aspects.
• Implement effective communication strategies, ensuring clear and consistent updates with development teams throughout project cycles.
• Demonstrate proactive engagement in understanding and adapting to new applications involved in project implementations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for business software processes and user interactions.
• Provide guidance and support for coaching and training team members, fostering proficiency in software application usage.

Qualifications:

• Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Computer Science or equivalent professional/expertise
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working with ERP applications developing and maintaining Sage 500 or other on-premise instances of ERP with heavy support Finance and Accounting in financial reporting processes
• Proficient in ERP and FPNA systems within the finance and accounting domain
• Have demonstrated success working with legacy Sage product in a manufacturing environment exhibit a strong inclination towards business intelligence and automation
• Demonstrate effective leadership skills with a track record of managing small to medium-sized projects.

• Proficient generating complex reporting with in Sage, ERP, Excel, and SQL or other Business Intelligence tools with a high level of confidence.
• Willingness to work onsite in office on a full-time basis
• Experience with tools like O365, Power BI
• Familiarity with Excel Macros is a plus.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is beneficial.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills are imperative.

• The estimated annual compensation for the positions ranges between $120,000 and $130,000. The client determines the formal offer of compensation, which is based on multiple factors.
