Role: REMOTE Sr. Product Owner

Location: Remote/WFH/Telecommute

Type: Long Term Contract

Apex Systems, a national leader in IT staffing and solutions, is searching for a Sr. Product Owner! This is a Contract role for a fast growing healthcare technology company! The Product Owner is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes working closely with our customers to understand their business needs and goals, developing a product vision, and working with the development team to build the appropriate solution. This individual is responsible for building the product backlog and working with the Scrum Master on grooming session and project prioritization.

Skillsets:

• Own and define the product requirements for custom applications
• Be the product champion and know how to advocate for business needs
• Lead a cross functional team of design and development individuals in an Agile environment
• Manage the delivery of the product to ensure a timely release that will meet the defined requirements, quality standards, and customer experience standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and IT teams
• Engage with customers both proactively and reactively to listen and obtain their feedback on the product
• Work within the scrum team and actively participate in improving our processes.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle
• Demonstrable proficiency in product design, delivery and leadership
• Working knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies
• Leverage excellent customer management skills Bring strong time and project management skills
• Excellent communicator across various groups and team
