You will lead the Cisco SA team for the FED Mission Programs Region and will form a close partnership with the Regional Sales Manager. You will work with US Intel customers, as well as including Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Product Sales Executives and Specialists. You will work with your team and partners to provide best and optimized solutions for your customers.
In this role, you will lead a team of pre-sales engineers that have direct account and partner responsibilities. You will develop and maintain direct customer relationships and at the same time execute on three main SEM pillars:
As the tech evangelist, understand the market, Cisco’s strategy and where the team should be focused
o Knowledge across Cisco hardware, software and SAAS portfolio (including Cisco Story)
o Knowledge of competitive landscape and eco system landscape
o Strength of AT, CX, BE, WW Sales relationships to align technical and business strategies to drive revenue growth within territory
o Be a technical public speaker/advocate at One-To-Many external events (industry trade shows, social media, etc)
o Market trend evangelism (where the industry is going and how we align)
As the technical business leader, helps the team create customer opportunity by mapping technology to mission outcomes.
o Know your Tools (SAGE, MBR, SPOT, SFDC, Centro)
o Know your business (top deals, BE performance, forecasting and attainment positions)
o Invest in business partner relationship (RM, OD, Connected Team Leadership)
o Maintain key customer and partner relationships
o Continuously refine AM and SE Go To Market (sales motions) based on data and drive accountability and operational excellence
Lead the team toward success by setting direction, based on customer needs (often before they know they need anything) and recruiting, developing and retaining the best engineering teams in the industry to meet them.

Possess a US Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Pre-sales Systems Engineering experience strongly desired
- Must have 7 years in our industry with proven experience selling/crafting/implementing Cisco solutions or similar technology solutions: Routing & Switching, Security, Data Centre, Cloud, Automation, Application Analytics, Unified Communications & Collaboration.
- Experience leading a team of people or leading a project from start to completion.
- A strong background in a broad range of solutions, with the ability to link a business-relevant solution message across Cisco's full technology stack.
- Motivated self-starter that focuses on the success of the broader team while continuously finding ways to help other teammates.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills, working effectively within a cross-functional organization both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and strong presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
- Industry-recognized certification is helpful.
