- Successful candidates analyzes test reports and ensure products conform to standards.
- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
- Works as a bridge between planning, manufacturing and validation design engineering teams.
- Engineering technicians use validation teams and manufacturing inputs to test and implement complex hardware components into the ecosystem.
- Responsibilities include working with senior engineers to define functionality requirements, writing manufacturing test plans, documenting and implementing the solutions.
- Receives Hardware shipments logs into systems for tracking.
- Hips and distributes hardware for testing prior to shipping.
- Enable HW components within validation systems.
- Execute SW and HW validation tests to ensure functionality and quality.
- Understanding and working knowledge of board schematics and design.
- Debug and troubleshooting hardware issues hands on.
- Ability to interpret detailed technical documentations including Platform User Guide and Test procedures.
- Able to lead small projects and direct suppliers remotely to perform test.
- Possess a proactive mindset, able to handle ambiguity and diverse tasks and respond to a rapidly changing environment.
- Able to follow direction from leadership to execute projects as needed.
- Shipping / receiving Hardware.
- Technical degree or electronics / electrical engineering.
- Working knowledge of test equipment and validation hardware.
- Practical electronic engineering is a plus.
- Ability to work extra hours as needed.
- Knowledge and experience of the PCB assembly process is a plus.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to adapt and respond to ever changing environments.
- Great teamwork.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel.
- Able to work independently.
- Teamwork and customer obsession.
