About the position: The Engineering technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment, according to safety and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Compensation:
Primary Responsibilities
1) Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. (weekly 5S walks)
2)Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
a) Include issue and follow up PO for new equipment and service parts.
3) Provide emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting of production equipment
4) Diagnose problems with programing and make adjustments.
5) HMI Troubleshooting
6) Minor robot position programming/adjustments (6 axis and Liner)
7) Vision system program creation/modification.
8) Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
9) Assist in cell layout design.
10) Part fixture improvements and design. (use of 3D software like CATIA or Autocad)
11) Diagnose problems with programing and make adjustments to Mass Spec and all Plant Brazers
12) Work with Continues Improvement activities and FTT-OEE in plant.

Special Requirements (i.e.: Overtime, Travel, etc.)
This is a full-time position, and hours of work will require occasional overtime and weekends.
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
