Mercury Systems is looking for the world’s best and brightest emerging talent. If you want to tell people WHY you do what you do, rather than simply WHAT you do, Mercury is calling. Our Purpose, Innovation That Matters, inspires our people in making trusted, secure, mission-critical solutions profoundly more accessible to aerospace and defense. We bridge the gap between commercial technology and defense applications to address the industry’s most pressing high-tech needs. Why? To help create a safer, more secure world.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Hardware Engineer you will be working with an interdisciplinary engineering design team to carry out the electrical design of custom and COTS LCD displays for military applications. You will own the schematic capture, board layout, test artifacts, and simulation of circuit boards used in these products. With your experience as an Electrical/ Hardware Engineer you’ll be expected to easily take a list of design requirements and turn it into a set of boards that meet the electrical functionality needed by our products.
In this role, you have the opportunity to create display systems for the entire Mercury Military Rugged Display Systems product suite (https://www.mrcy.com/products/military-rugged-display-systems). These displays are installed on almost every fighter jet or tank in the US fleet.
