Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who is passionate about shaping the future of electric vehicles. At Stafl Systems, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing system solutions for EV powertrains, focusing on excellence and innovation at every step.

    Your Role:
    • Understand high-level customer applications and derive specific requirements and engineering decisions to support project goals.
    • Manage product development and documentation throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with performance and safety standards.
    • Conduct comprehensive design reviews and develop system specifications to enhance product features, interface, and environment.
    • Lead product testing, defining test cases and procedures to verify performance and functionality.
    • Utilize diverse resources and multidisciplinary approaches to drive complex problem-solving and innovation.
    • Oversee system and subsystem architecture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer needs.
    What We Expect From You:
    • MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 5 years of experience in electric vehicles or related fields, with a deep understanding of software, electrical, and mechanical design.
    • Proficiency in requirements management tools like Jama, DOORS, Polarion, and experience with functional safety analysis (ISO26262, ISO19014).
    • Solid experience in system-level architecture design, particularly in aerospace or automotive sectors.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to review diverse engineering outputs.
    Stand Out with:
    • High competence in engaging with customer requirements and translating them into thoroughly-defined product systems.
    • Experience with High Voltage Battery Systems (400/800 VDC) and Battery Management Systems at both hardware and software levels.
    • Background in designing schematics, PCB, CAD, and various communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS232, J1939, etc.).
    • Knowledge of programming languages (C, C , Python, Matlab, C#) and system-level model simulation tools (Simulink, PSpice).
    • Experience in functional safety and FMEA analysis across different sectors.
    • Knowledge of standards for testing and certification of high-voltage electric powertrain components.
