Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for a Vendor Performance Manager for a client in the Kansas City area. The position would be a contract to hire and the expectation is that the candidate would come onsite 3 days a week to their Overland Park, Kansas location.
Requirements:

• 7-10 years: Telecommunications/Wireless Industry - experience in the areas of Engineering, Finance or Carrier Management desired or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Management, team lead, or other equivalent leadership experience is preferred.
• This candidate would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day vendor relationship for a service provider across multiple business teams, including vendor performance, needs assessment, spend optimization, risk management, and alignment to department goals.
• Strong relationship management and the ability to influence internally and externally are key success factors in this role.
• Provides day to day ownership of Master Service Contract (MSA) with outsourcing partners, has responsibility for oversight and partners in the negotiation with leadership and Legal on Scope of Work (SOW) for outsourcing, is responsible for ensuring outsourcing partners are in compliance with MSA, SOW, SOX, and all internal controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors to align and manage expectations of service delivery / reliability.
• Schedule and conduct vendor evaluations / business reviews for compliance.
