General Summary:

Create and build client relationships targeted at new sales in defined markets. Oversees contracts with sales representatives to ensure companies best interests are advocated for.

What is the Job:

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts
• Develops and maintains sales operating budget
• Establishes and actively participates in new sales initiatives
• Assists in the identification of markets and customers
• Keeps corporate team abreast of all progress, developments, and/or concerns regarding potential customers.
• Works in collaboration with Inside Sales and Customer Service departments to explore products and service that can benefits  accounts.
• Generates and execute contracts with companies to ensure Crystal Finishing's best interests are advocated for.
• Establishes relationships with new customer accounts obtained through Sales process.
• Develop and implement a consistent quote. Develops and maintains quote log.
• Coordinate and oversee new part or service launch. Ensures involvement of all stakeholders. Maintains involvement until proven performance. Plans and exit strategy after successful implementation.
• Monitors competitor product, sales, and marketing activities.
• Coordinates company tours for new business prospects
• Travels to prospective customer locations to learn their business and needs
• Supports and advocates for company initiatives regarding quality, human resources, continuous improvement, operations, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of business, customer, prospective customer information.
• Responds to all internal and external requests timely

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of sales and service within the aluminum extrusion and paint industries normally acquired by completion of an advanced degree in sales, marketing, or business or similar work experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in sales in a management role desired.
• Must possess and maintain a current driver license and automobile insurance.
• Strong analytical and negotiating skills necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizations skills necessary.
• Excellent decision making and critical thinking skills needed.
