Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager jobs in Fairbanks, AK

Facilities Services is looking for an Assistant Systems and Database Manager to be a key player in supporting our important work of our stewardship over legacy and historical information; all of the archives of building plans and manuals, 30 years worth of legacy website code, and preserving legacies of facilities and systems information going back nearly an entire century. In the end, it's important to understand that the end users, the people of FS, UAF and UA, are why any of these systems are here in the first place, and that being invested in the well being and functionality of the systems, their users, and the user experiences are all important to the success of our overall mission of being good stewards of the land and maintaining all of the buildings, facilities, and all of campus for use by generations to come.

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
