Job Description:

Apex Systems currently has a contract Project Manager opening in Des Moines, IA that must be able to work onsite. We are looking for someone with experience with the lifecycle of an insurance policy who can help with the workflow requirements of our upcoming projects.
Project Manager
Contract
Des Moines, IA - hybrid onsite

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards
• Manage project scope and change requests
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and risk logs
• Ensure that project management methodologies and best practices are followed

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Experience managing IT projects, preferably in a complex, enterprise environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Experience with project management tools and software
