We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our surgical department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the operating room, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to surgical services.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team to facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of surgical equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to operating room staff, including nurses, surgical technologists, and support personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as anesthesia, sterile processing, and post-anesthesia care, to streamline workflow and optimize patient flow.
• Monitor and evaluate departmental performance metrics, such as case volume, turnover times, and surgical site infection rates.
• Participate in budget planning and financial management activities for the operating room department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of WV.
• Minimum experience preferred in perioperative nursing, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Mon-Thur, No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
