Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.     RESPONSIBLE TO: Vice President of Systems and Growth

    JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of Systems and Growth will play a critical role in advancing our healthcare organization's operational efficiency and scalability. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of business systems, as well as managing the integration of new technologies and platforms. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of healthcare processes and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective training and support.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

    • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing business systems and processes to support the organization's growth and operational goals.
    • Lead the integration of new software, technology, and platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability across various systems.
    • Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that enhance productivity and patient care.
    • Manage and oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs for staff on new systems and processes.
    • Monitor and analyze system performance, generating reports and insights to inform decision-making and guide system enhancements.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure systems and processes are up-to-date and in line with industry standards.
    • Foster strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive successful system implementations and integrations.
    • Lead and mentor a team of system specialists and training professionals, setting clear objectives and KPIs to measure success and promote professional development.
    • Serve as a change agent by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and processes across the organization.
    • Manage the budget for system development, integration, and training initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

    OTHER

    • Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes.
    • Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports incidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline.
    • Models the AP Code of Conduct and demonstrates a commitment to the AP Compliance Program, standards and policies.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Physical demands are moderate with occasional lifting of items weighing approximately 20-30 pounds. Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and vision must be correctable to normal range to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing business systems within a healthcare environment, with a proven track record of successful system integrations and process improvements.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
    • Excellent project management abilities and experience managing complex projects across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficiency in healthcare IT systems, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and other clinical management software.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and train staff at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting organizational objectives.
