Systems Consultant/Engineering Director oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Job Summary

    Under supervision of the Finance Manager, the Systems Associate works with agency staff with technical support on computers, software, telephone equipment, mobile devices, and related office technology. All Community Connections employees are expected to contribute to the professional reputation of the agency through understanding and promoting the organization’s mission and core values in all aspects of services.

    Duties & Essential Job Functions

    Assists onboarding staff into the E.H.R. and other IT systems required for execution of their duties;

    Provides ongoing support to staff for technological components of the E.H.R. and helps track staff compliance with annual IT security trainings;

    Assists with managing the user account setup, orientation and training of assigned agency software, hardware and office equipment for new personnel as part of the onboarding process;

    Assists with the troubleshooting of IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems making repairs and corrections where required both in person and remotely;

    Assists with developing training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials for IT equipment and software;

    Provides backup to IT after hours as needed;

    Assists with other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent;

    Must be able to pass a criminal background check under agency guidelines and state regulations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Knowledge of Microsoft products Windows 10, Remote Desktop and Office 365 Applications;

    Experience setting up mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets as well as setting up and configuring various devices such as TVs, copier, printers, etc.

    Required Licensure/Certification

    A valid Alaska State driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance is required.

    Physical Requirements / Work Environment

    This position is office based and generally sedentary in nature. Must be able to use standard office equipment, lift and carry materials weighing up to fifty pounds. Must be willing to travel to other offices and able to fly in small planes or ferry.

    COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

    Full-time and Part-time positions available. $18.54 – $22.14/hr DOE.
