Systems Consultant/Engineering Director oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Stryker Vehicles are fast, highly-mobile combat vehicles used by the military to triumph on the battlefield. As a Stryker Systems Maintainer for the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for keeping the Stryker systems functioning to ensure the success of each and every mission.

    In this role, you will be supervising and performing maintenance on various Stryker systems and vehicles including: the M1128 Mobile gun system, the M1132 Engineer support vehicle, the M1133 Medical evacuation vehicle, and the M1135 NBC recon vehicle.

    Job Duties
    • Perform field and sustainment-level maintenance on various vehicle systems to include the suspension systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, fire extinguisher/suppressor systems, and vehicle mounted armament
    • Supervises compliance with shop safety program and use, and maintenance and security of power tools
    • Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions
    • Supervises and provides technical guidance to junior-grade Soldiers
    • Performs battlefield damage assessment and repair

    • Engine disassembly and repair
    • Repair of hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems
    • Repair and maintenance of armament systems

    • Interest in mathematics, shop mechanics, and engine mechanics
    • Ability to use hand and power tools
