Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. As a Cyber Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust cyber security solutions to protect the organization from potential cyber threats. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess current security measures, identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies that enhance our overall security posture. The incumbent will play a crucial, hands-on role in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems.
The successful candidate will have In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies and best practices. Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and evolving cyber threats. Prorficency in programming, coding, testing and debugging technologies. Ability to manage complex tasks and multitask; Experience or interest in environmental and/or sustainability field; Understands ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, and COBIT frameworks and Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cybersecuirty or Information Security or equivalent experience
